Gravel Pit are a Sydney based experimental and electronic music duo that combine manipulated live instrumentation with layered samples, synths and glitched vocals. Gravel Pit’s sound is a convergence of their love for 80’s sci-fi movie scores, punk rock and electronica.

SPORTS is the second EP released from the pair that sees the duo further explore their sound with an emphasis this time around on manipulation of performed instrument and vocal samples arranged into complex tracks. Much like the final weeks of footy season, SPORTS is light and dark, high and low, clean and distorted. In a live setting these songs are pushed to breaking point with sounds being pushed to the front only to be taken over by an opposing frequency then again colliding into each other.
